Wireframes and Website Design
Presented here are examples of wireframes and pre-visiualization mock-ups of website designs. Balsamiq was used in creating the wireframes. Prior to using Balsamiq for the wireframe stage of design, I skipped the wireframe altogether and created pre-visualization mock-ups using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Product User Interface
I was tasked to design the user interface (control panel) for a heating/cooling device aimed at an older audience. This included only 3 buttons: Heat (temperature up), Cool (temperature down), and power. I balanced the design with the LCD readout on the opposite side of the panel.
In addition to the “simple” controls on the device, I designed a more advanced mobile phone app to control more advanced settings on the device.

Logos & Branding
The old logo was dated and they wanted an updated look to brand the library.
The guidelines I was given were:
1. The logo had to look like a book, or be book-themed
2. The logo needed to incorporate the “farm” aspect of the area
3. If possible, incorporate a canal, since they are near the Eerie Canal
4. The logo would be used as a stand-alone logo, or with the words “Ogden Farmers’ Library
5. Keep it simple, if possible
Here is the final logo:
And here are the pieces of the logo broken down into the pieces representing the items in the specs:

A Tribute to the “Printer” scene in Office Space
Here’s a fun little video we made at work after our Xerox Phaser finally died. We’d all put up with it long enough, so we went all “Office Space” on the old thing.
